HYBRID CLASSES FOR SENIOR KINDERGARTEN SY 2022-2023

 

We will offer the Hybrid classes for Senior Kindergarten Level by middle of September, 2022

Requirement: fully vaccinated status of students

Schedule: Tue, Wed and Fri- Face to Face;       Mon and Thu – Online

Duration: 3.5 hours face to face; 3 hours online

Confirmation Date: Please answer the reply slip and return it to your adviser if you want to join the Hybrid classes. Please do so not later than September 2, 2022 (Friday); 8-12 students per Hybrid class can be accommodated, following a first confirmed, first reserved basis.

Please accomplish the reply slip and return it to your adviser once you are interested to join the pilot hybrid class.

During the transition to Hybrid classes, there may be re-alignment and adjustments in the classes and assigned teachers. However, please be assured that we will strive to maintain your current schedule to avoid inconvenience to the students.

PLAYGROUND PROTOCOL (Grades 1 and 2)

  • Open door/windows, overhead fans;
  • Sanitizing of hands before and after the activity;
  • Mask on at all times;
  • No physical contact during the activity (1-arm rule);
  • Fully-vaccinated students;
  • Two teachers supervise the activity;
  • Cleaning and sanitizing in-between sections (one section at a time).

Dear SLCS Families,

Thank you for a memorable school year.

As a guide, kindly take note of the following IMPORTANT DATES:

  • April 30 (Fri)– release of SLCS Developmental Report via email to Grade 6 students (for students with account clearance for SY 2020-2021)
  •  May 8 (Sat)– last batch of SLCS Virtual Open House (if you have friends and family members who are interested to know more about SLCS)
  • May 17 (Mon)– release of Developmental Report via email (for students with account clearance for SY 2020-2021) and grade school MI (Multiple Intelligence Virtual Certificates)
  • May 17 (Mon) – Start of the SLCS ROC (Reinforcement Online Classes)
  • June 5 (Sat)– Pre School Recognition Day (for Nursery and Junior Kindergarten students)
  • June 11 (Fri) – Graduation Day (for Senior Kindergarten and Grade 6 students)
  • June 18 (Fri) – Grade 1-5 Recognition Day (for students who are recipients of academic awards)
Note:
  1. Students will be informed soon of scheduled virtual practices by the advisers
  2. For grade school students: ACCESS TO DIWA GENYO IS EXTENDED UNTIL MAY 15 (to give students more time to access and utilize Diwa GENYO resources)

ADJUSTMENT OF MLE SCHEDULE

Due to the scheduled maintenance of internet providers, to ensure optimal internet access of teachers and students during tests, and upon recommendation of the technical team of DIWA GENYO, pls take note of the following schedule adjustments:

September 28-30 (Mon-Wed)
cancellation of MLE and synchronous classes; pls use this time to study for the MLE and see uploads in the Google classroom

MLE Sept will be moved to:

October 1 (Thu)
FIRST DAY OF TEST for Nursery, Junior Kinder, Senior Kinder and Grade 1-6 students;

October 2 (Fri)
SECOND DAY OF TEST for Junior Kinder, Senior Kinder and Grade 1-6 students; LAST DAY of test for Nursery students

October 3 (Sat)
THIRD DAY OF TEST for Junior Kinder, Senior Kinder and Grade 1-6 students

October 5 (Mon)
FOURTH DAY OF TEST for Grade 1-6 students
Regular class for Pre School students

*Due to the schedule adjustment, there will be NO achievement holiday after the MLE to ensure appropriate academic time for lessons intended for the month of October

  • duration: 1 hr, 30 minutes ( part 1-40 mins, break-10 mins, part 2-40 mins)
